Chief Innocent Ezeokafor, head of a popular transport company in Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area has died one week after being freed by his abductors.
Ezeokafor who was abducted on October 19 and spent 18 days with the gunmen before being released last week, died at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi.
A family source told The Nation;
“His health condition worsened while in captivity. He was rushed to the teaching hospital where he died.”
