[News] Area boys extort 25k from man whose vehicle broke down on a ‘Federal road’

Sports analyst Charles Anazodo, has shared the story of how his friend was extorted of N25, 000 after his car broken down somewhere in Ikorodu, Lagos state on Wednesday, January 24.

 

In a post shared on X, Charles said the area boys told his friend he had to pay some money because his car broke down on a Federal road.

 

‘’A friend’s car broke down on Ikorodu Road last night, and area boys surrounded him, demanding a fee of 70k because, according to them, his car broke down on a federal road. He was alone and eventually settled on 25k. This happened in a mega city.” He wrote
