[News] Babcock University confirms hack of school website after hacker threatened to leak sensitive data of students

The management of Babcock University has confirmed that the school’s website was hacked by some unknown persons,

 

The hacker had released a statement, recounting how he had alerted the school in the past about some loopholes in their website. The hacker who disclosed that he is now in possession of personal details of students, parents and guardians, alumni, bank details, card details, and addresses, revealed that the website was not protected and even when the school’s security engineers worked on the last alert he issued, they didn’t change the passwords. He further threatened to leak all he has in his possession unless his demands are met.
