Bandits have kidnapped the former Permanent Commissioner of Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC) Hon Sanusi Wanzamai Sanusi.
Sanusi was abducted on Monday evening, June 6, at Gidan-Giye village, along Gusau-Tsafe -Wanzamai Road in Zamfara.
It was gathered that the ex-electoral commissioner was kidnapped alongside his younger brother.
According to reports, the victims were trying to repair their car which developed a mechanical fault along the road when the bandits emerged from the forest and whisked them away.
