Suspected bandits have killed a former councillor of Chikun ward in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Hon. Yohanna Daniel.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was gathered that the deceased was kidnapped and thereafter, murdered by his abductors.
Meanwhile, friends and acquaintances have taken to Facebook to mourn him.
“Oh Death!! It’s still shocking that the conversation we had as at 6am yesterday was the last,” one Hon. Deborah Galadima wrote.This is a great loss to the people of Chikun, Nigerian Farmers association and the relations, but we cannot question God, Rather, we pray that the lord will protect, provide for, and console the family you left behind IJN. Rest in peace Hon. Yohanna Daniel till we meet again to depart no more.”
