Nigerian broadcast journalist, Deji Badmus has narrated his humiliating experience with black-on-black racism in an African country.
“We have a long way to go in Africa. So some white-skinned guys and I were walking into a VIP lounge at an airport in an African country. Every white-skinned was allowed to walk through the door,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.“But when it came to my turn, my black brother, who is the security guard at the entrance, stopped me for a search. Mind you, I was part of the delegation of the white-skinned guys o. Quite humiliating. Africans really have a problem.”
