Comedian, DatVideoboyy has narrated his experience with VIO officials in Lagos state.
According to the actor and skit maker, he was stopped by the Vehicle Inspection Officials in the Festac area of Lagos State, and upon inspection of his car papers, they refused to return the documents despite not finding anything wrong.
He alleged that the VIO officials told him to exit his car before they could tell him his offence, to which he refused.
After much deliberations, the officials told him he had a ‘defaced’ plate number and refused to hand him his car documents. He said it was at this point he started calling the VIO officials ‘ole’ a Yoruba word which means ‘thief,’ while recording the officials. In the video recording the officer hit his phone twice, resulting in damage to the phone’s screen. The officials finally left the scene without returning his papers.
