[News] Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour reacts as Lagos state govt denies reports state funds were used to pay Gov Sanwo-Olu’s lawyers at the election tribunal

The Labour party governorship candidate in the March 18 election in Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, GRV has reacted to the statement released by the Lagos state govt denying reports that state funds were used to pay Gov Sanwo-Olu’s lawyers at the election tribunal.

 

Gbadebo had taken to his X handle to call out the state government for allegedly using the state funds to pay lawyers who represented Sanwo-Olu at the state election tribunal. Read here. 

 

The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, then released a statement denying the report. Omotoso said there is no truth to the allegation. Read here.

 

Gbadebo in his reaction to the state government’s statement, shared a song by Femi Kuti saying ‘’them bobo una” which in local parlance means ‘’They deceive you people.”
