[News] Gunmen kidnap 18 travellers in Ondo

18 travellers were abducted by gunmen in Ondo state on Wednesday night, September 8.

 

The travellers were abducted along Ifira-Akoko/Idoani road in Akoko South East Local Government Area of the state and dragged into a nearby forest.

 

Commander of Ondo State Security Outfit, codenamed Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye said 14 of the victims have been rescued by men of the agency while efforts are ongoing to rescue the rest.
