A disturbing video of a man repeatedly assaulting his alleged girlfriend as his male friend looks on, has angered Kenyans on social media, with many calling for his arrest.
In the video shared by Human Rights enthusiast Alvin Ang’ienda, the dreadlocked man identified as Raymond Nduga, said to be a lawyer, was captured repeatedly slapping the woman who is seated across him,
As his anger escalates, his girlfriend identified as Dorris Everlyne Tado, attempts to calm the situation but he hit her again, this time, backhanding her while yelling; “Leave here, Leave here!”
The woman kept saying “I‘ve been jealous. I’ve been jealous” but the man slapped her again, repeating, “Leave this place! I’m done.”
While it is not clear when the incident happened or what caused it. However, Kenyans on Facebook and X have slammed the man, calling for his arrest.
Lawyer Maxwell Wafula wrote, “That guy is a lawyer? I’m disappointed. I thought lawyers were supposed to untangle messes, not jump into the spaghetti bowl. You ever beat my sister like that, I’ll show up for a friendly conversation you won’t forget!”
Pauline Njoroge wrote: “Raymond Nduga cannot sleep in his house today, he must be arrested!!!! What justifies you as a man to beat a vulnerable woman, Doris Tado, then post it on Facebook and brag saying you are untouchable?”
“Nobody should beat a partner in this age and era. Watched that video of Raymond Nduga with emotions. Kenyans should boycott his business (if any), call for his arrest and prosecution. This is unwarranted. Good morning Kenyans,” Abuga Makori wrote.
