A landlord has said that it is wrong for an African woman to go house hunting.

The landlord said this during an interview with media personality, Olive Emodi.

Olive asked why landlords refuse to rent houses to single women and the landlord said it is un-African.

The landlord added that single women who want a house to live in should get married and stay under a man.

When asked what women in abusive marriages should do, the landlord said the woman should “endure” and remain with the abusive husband so she can have a roof over her head.
