[News] “It’s a sin and a crime to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day” – Friends mourn man killed by kidnappers after ransom payment in Kaduna



Friends and family members have mourned a 47-year-old man, Danjuma Sale Dikilang, who was abducted and killed by kidnappers in Kaduna State despite ransom payment.
It was gathered that late Dikilang was kidnapped from his home one month ago and family members paid huge ransom demanded by his abductors.
One Friday Ameh Agbo, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, October 1, 2023, said it’s a sin and a crime for him to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day when his colleague was kidnapped and brutally murdered.
One Yabo Goler, described the deceased as a good man.
“The internet has been scary with various news of deaths upandan. Oga Danju, it is heart breaking i am writing this, i wish this is not true! But its confirmed you’ve gone to be with ur maker,” he wrote.
“You made my stay in KD a memorable one. You were such a good man and very accommodating, your killers will never know peace. After spending about a month in the kidnapper’s Den, with the large ransom taken but they still did this to you
