[News] Larry King hand-wrote his will in 2019 seeking equal split among his children

Larry King’s last known will directed that everything in his estate is to be shared equally among his children.

The document which was obtained by TMZ showed that the late talk show host hand-wrote his most recent will on October 17, 2019, about 2 months after filing for divorce from his 7th wife, Shawn Southwick King.

The legendary broadcaster wrote his will specifying that all of his money should be “divided equally among my children Andy, Chaia, Larry Jr, Chance & Cannon”.

Legal documents estimate King’s estate to be worth around $2 million, but there are likely separate assets held in separate trusts.

It has however been reported that the CNN star sadly lost 2 of his adult kids a month apart in 2020. His son, Andy, died of a heart attack in July, and his daughter, Chaia died in August a short time after being diagnosed with lung cancer.

His son Larry King Jr. has however filed a lawsuit, seeking to be appointed as the administrator of his dad’s estate, given that the 87-year-old talk show host was still in the middle of the divorce when he died last month.

Larry died at the age of 87 in January after a battle with COVID-19. He died from a sepsis infection, which is unrelated to COVID-19.
