Larsa Pippen has spoken out after finalizing her divorce last week from NBA legend Scottie Pippen, three years after she filed to end their marriage in 2018.
Reflecting on their years going back-and-forth in court on Thursday’s episode of Getting Real with the Housewives’ podcast, the 47-year-old model admitted to asking herself, at times: ‘Is it ever gonna be over?’
‘It’s the longest divorce in history,’ the Real Housewives of Miami star said.
She added: ‘I’m kind of glad that like, you know, we are where we are today. The divorce is over, we’re still in a great place and our kids are older too.’
‘The divorce is over, we’re still in a great place and our kids are older too,’ the mom-of-four said of her successful co-parenting relationship with Scottie.
The exes share sons Scotty Pippen Jr., 21; Preston Pippen, 19; Justin Pippen, 17; and daughter Sophia Pippen, 13.
‘I wish my kids would have had, you know, a mom and dad in the same home. I felt guilty because I just, you know, I grew up with my mom and dad,’ Larsa told Us Weekly.
The former best friend of Kim Kardashian continued: ‘I wanted my kids to grow up like that, but as far as our relationship, it couldn’t be better than it is right now. To be honest with you, we’re like, in such a great place. We love each other.’
‘We’re always gonna support each other. We support our kids, you know, we’re just in a really good place,’ she explained to the outlet.
She also said she was ‘really proud’ of how she and Scottie ‘navigated through this divorce’ and other obstacles.
Scottie first filed for divorce in 2016, shortly before rekindling their unoin until she filed to end their marriage at the end of 2018.
On January 6, lawyer David J. Glass confirmed the divorce was finalized to Us Weekly.
