[News] Man claims soldiers beat up members of his community for chasing herders who invaded his community

A man has claimed that soldiers beat up members of his community after they chased away herders who invaded the community.

 

The Twitter user from Nde community, Ikom Local Government Area, Cross River state, made this allegation on Twitter.

 

He wrote: “My community was invaded by Herdsmen, the youths chased them away. On Saturday 2nd Oct. the army invaded my community and beat up our youths like common criminals. NDE Community in Ikom Local government area of Cross River State. Sad.”
