[News] Passengers rescued by Lagos State Waterways Authority after their boat developed fault

Some stranded boat passengers were on Friday, November 10, rescued by officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority after almost the boat almost sank.

 

In a video shared online before they were rescued, the boat passengers called out for help while also disclosing that the boat was almost sinking.

 

They were heard saying;

 

“As you can see, we’re sinking o. We’re sinking now. Like seriously, we’re sinking in the boat. We need rescue please. We need rescue here.”

 

They were eventually rescued by the LASWA team shortly after.
