Reckitt opened its state-of-the-art Sub-Saharan Africa head office in Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday, June 28, 2021.
The new head office will serve as a base for efforts facilitating increased access to the highest-quality hygiene, wellness and nourishment products for citizens across six countries under its Sub-Saharan Africa region — Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania and Ivory Coast.
Here are some of the gorgeous photos from some of the best spots in the office.
The Waiting Area: Decorated with comfortable couches clad in the company’s colours, this room is where visitors are first introduced to the Reckitt brand, and also the place where the company starts off each day. Did you notice the mural that highlights key moments in Reckitt’s over 200-year existence? History at a glance, we like that.
The Nursing Room: To make sure new mothers return to work happy, healthy and fully supported, the company created a comfortable room for lactation or nursing purposes. The serene space that allows moms to privately pump in peace is well equipped with a comfortable couch and wash hand basin. That’s how to think ‘inclusive’!
The Lounge: Equipped with a game station, bar stools and expansive comfy couch, complete with a remarkable view of the sky, this space is the right place to cool off when you need a break from tasks and meetings. Mental health awareness is key and we all need to find ways to depressurise in the middle of hectic schedules and meetings.
The Lunch room: As far as exquisite break rooms go, this is it. Large, beautiful, colourful, serene, comfortable are some of the best adjectives that can be used to describe this space. Complete with a state-of-the-art coffee maker, this room ticks all the line items for a conducive office break room.
Collaboration areas: The office space has a number of cubicles spread around the floor plan. Interestingly, these workpods have cool names inspired by major African cities like Eko, Abidjan, Accra, and the images on the screens in each area tell a unique story about that city.
The Open Space Plan: This space was designed to allow employees work with natural light as they enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Lagos and the skies. But most importantly, it’s anti-COVID compliant with seats arranged at least 2 metres away from each other.
The Conference Room: This particular space is miles away from conference rooms as we know them. Well-designed with state-of-the-art equipment and nice furnishings, this space efficiently conveys to clients and visitors Reckitt’s personality, attention to detail, and relevance in the modern world.
It’s the future of workspaces, what’s not to love.
