[News] Police rescue 12-year-old girl from forest in Rivers

Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command have rescued a 12-year-old girl, Franklyn Chioma-Blessing, who was declared missing in Port Harcourt.

 

 

Chioma-Blessing was rescued from a forest in Igbo-Kingdom, Etche Local Government Area of the state.It was gathered that the girl left her house on Thursday, May 11, 2023, for school but never got to her destination.

Police operatives stormed a forest in Igbo-Etche on Saturday, May 13, and rescued the girl.

 

It is unclear if the girl was kidnapped for ransom at the time of filing this report.
