[News] Texas hotel management invites police to shut down a cultural event being held by Mbaise community in one of their halls



The management of a Texas hotel in the U.S. reportedly invited the police to shut down a cultural event held by Nigerians from Mbaise community, which was taking place at one of their halls.

 

A man was heard in the background saying that they paid for the hall and the management of Westin Hotel at Irvine, Texas, waited till the event started, to invite the police to shut it down.

A source who sent the video to LIB wrote;

“This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as a whole. The manager of Westin Hotel Irvine Texas just shut down an Mbaise convention while the event is on going.. We stand with Ndi Igbo home and abroad… let’s build our country… We can do it. Stop being humiliated and rejected home and abroad.”
