[News] Update: Slain Jos stadium manager, Sasman Shaldas, announced the arrest of a suspected cable vandal two days before his murder



The Assistant Manager at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Plateau State, Sasman Shaldas, had posted photos of a suspected vandal arrested for stealing armoured electric cables in the stadium two days before he was killed by gunmen.

 

Shaldas was shot dead by the assailants on Tuesday, June 15, while sitting with some friends in the stadium.

 

Two days earlier, precisely on Sunday, June 13, he took to the Facebook page of Plateau State Sports Council Jos, to announce the arrest of the suspect caught after he stole the cables.

 

“They steal our amour cable wire at de stadium last night luck run out of him, Vigilante group arrested him after cutting de cable wire along JMDB, may Gid continue to expose them one by one.”
