[News] ‘Wike Lule’- Media mogul Nduka Obaigbena taunts Rivers state governor at a gathering with Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal

A video of media mogul, Nduka Obaigbena taunting Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, at a gathering with Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has made the rounds on social media.

Recall that Gov Wike has been at loggerheads with the PDP leadership and Gov Tambuwal after losing out in the May 2022 presidential primary of the party as well as losing out in the race to become the running mate of Atiku Abubakar who won the presidential primary of the party.

His grievances towards Tambuwal started after the Sokoto state governor who was his close pal, worked ‘against’ him to ensure Atiku secured the party’s presidential ticket.
Tambuwal who was also in the race for the party’s Presidential ticket, stepped down for Atiku and asked his delegates to give their votes to Atiku and not Wike who was also in the race to win the party’s Presidential ticket.

 

In a video that is making the rounds on social media, Obaigbena who was seated with Gov Tambuwal and others at the funeral of his mum in Delta state could be heard mocking Governor Wike. He said ”Wike Lule” which means ”Wike was defeated”. His comment caused all those around him to laugh out loud.
