[Breaking News ] Lovers found dead after allegedly consuming drugs in Imo State

Two lovers identified as Samuel Osuji and Cynthia Obieshi, were found dead in an apartment belonging to Mr Samuel on Sunday, June 14, in Nekede, Imo State. .

Confirming the report, the spokesperson of the state police command, Godson Ikeokwu, said at about 9am on Sunday, operatives of the Divisional Police headquarters, Nekede/Ihiagwa Division received a call inviting them to number 19 Vic-Mic lodge JMJ Bus stop.

It was revealed that the lady visited her boyfriend, Samuel, on the 13/6/2020, and passed the night but unfortunately both of them couldn’t wake up the next morning. .

The police say preliminary investigations suggest that they may have died as a result of drug consumption. Meanwhile, the corpses have been deposited in the morgue, while investigation is in progress.
