[News] Bandits kidnap 67-year-old woman and her son in Katsina

Bandits have kidnapped a 67-year-old woman identified as Yar Ladi Turaki, and her son, Umar Aliyu in Katsina state.

 

It was gathered that the gunmen invaded their community in Ingawa Local Government Area of the state in the early hours of Saturday, October 29, and whisked the victims away to an unknown destination.

 

A source familiar with the incident, Soli Hassan, disclosed this in a Twitter post.

 

According to him, a family member of the victims, Ahmad Aliyu Turaki, said the bandits in large number, raided the town around 1:30 am, shooting sporadically before making away with mother and son.
