Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have killed one Rakiya Abdullahi, a senior staff of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC.
It was gathered that PR expert died on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, a week after she was shot by gunmen in Lagos.
According to Periscope Global Publishers the deceased and her husband, Alhaji Lawan Isa left Abuja for Lagos on Friday, February 5, to attend their friend’s wedding.
The couple boarded an airport taxi on their arrival to Lagos. They were stuck in traffic few kilometers after the airport when the gunmen attacked them.
They shot Rakiya and attacked her husband with knives and cutlasses. Rakiya was rushed to a hospital where she died a week later.
She was until her death, the Corporate Communications Officer for FCT North and West Regions, AEDC.
