[News] It is a local government road, it’s not the state responsibility – Governor El-rufai reacts to calls for a bad road in the state to be fixed

Governor Nasir El-rufai has reacted to calls for a bad road in the state to be fixed.

@TrackaNG shared photos which showed the deplorable state of Halima road in Chikun LGA, Kaduna State. It is said to be the major access road connecting Chikun and Kaduna south LGA.

However reacting to this, El-Rufai said it is a local government road and not the state government’s responsibility. He also said the Administrator of Kaduna Capital Territory will lead Managing Director of Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA)  Engr Habiba Buhari, & the Chairmen of Kaduna South & Chikun LGs to fix the road.
