[News] Suspected cultists shoot Rivers community chairman dead in front of a church in Port Harcourt



Gunmen suspected to be cultists have killed chief Ndidi Livingstone, the chairman of the Mgbuosimiri community in Obio-Akpor local government area, a suburb of Port Harcourt, Rivers State,

 

It was gathered that the community leader was shot dead just outside a church on Saturday evening, January 13, 2024.

According to reports, the gunmen shot Livingstone dead point blank as he was coming out of the compound of the church known as Peculiar Faith Ministry at the Agip axis of Mgboshimni, Mile Four area of Port Harcourt

 

The motive for his killing was not known at the time of filing this report, however, an eyewitness said the gunmen waited for the deceased to come out of the church.

 

“His killers driving a black Toyota Highlander Sports Utility Vehicle waited for him to come out from the church where he had attended an ongoing church programme for January and shot him several times before driving off,” the witness said.
