[News] Unlocking Nigeria’s Potential through transformative implementation of Presidential Executive Order No. 5



Presidential Executive Order No. 5 is a visionary policy set to propel Nigeria’s innovation, science, and technology. This transformative step aims to diversify our economy, boost investments, reduce foreign dependency, and strengthen the Naira. It’s aligned with the Federal Government’s 8-point Agenda.
Nigeria is rich in human capital and untapped resources. Yet, youth unemployment persists as we import what we could produce locally.
This executive order tackles these challenges by supporting Made-in-Nigeria Goods and Services, nurturing local capabilities, and promoting global competition. Operationalizing it is the mandate of the Strategic Implementation Task Office of the Executive Order (SITOPEO-5).

Methanol Fuel Technology Program
Technology and Innovation Centres
Digital Addressing Technology
Nigeria National Innovation Commercialization

Manufacturing Nigeria
The Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology is fully committed to this journey, led by Hon.
