[News] Vento Furniture Builds Hostel for the University of Abuja

Vento Furniture, one of the leading furniture companies in Nigeria, has donated a block of hostel accommodation (Adem Baba hostel) to the University of Abuja as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at giving back to society.

The state-of-the-art hostel facility was built and handed over to the University of Abuja to ease the accommodation challenge in the school. At the event that witnessed a large turnout of dignitaries, encomiums were poured on the management of Vento Furniture for the first-of-its-kind initiative by a furniture company in Nigeria.

 

 

According to the director of VENTO CSR, Mubera Yigit, she stated that the overarching objective is to give back to society, hence the numerous interventions in schools, orphanages and rural communities.

“At Vento, giving back is a critical component of our operations. This project is for all Vento customers because, for every item purchased from us, a percentage goes into CSR projects such as this.
